St. John's
Lutheran Church

380 Keny Blvd., London, OH 43140

Dear St. John’s Friends,

For those planning to worship at St. John's, we look forward to seeing you as we venture back into face-to-face worship. Remember: we’ll be sharing one combined worship at 10:00 a.m. Please review the guidelines sent in the June edition of The Chimes for in-person worship. We trust that we will all do what we can do to practice these guidelines as we attempt to create a safer atmosphere for those coming together.

For those of you who would like to continue worshiping at home and feel more comfortable doing so (on-line or with the DVD's) everything remains pretty much the same. We encourage you to make use of this option for as long as you like. The only change is in the timing. Since we will be recording on Sunday mornings, the on-line option should be in-place by Sunday evening, and the DVD's will most likely be delivered sometime on Monday.

How thankful we are for having options. How thankful we are for you! We are also thankful for your continued financial support as we seek to be the Church, making Jesus’ love visible through us!
To worship online please go to www.stjohnslondon.org. Once on the website, go to the home page, then on the right side scroll down to the bottom where it says “church services.” Click on that & you will find the services. I hope this is helpful.

A collection of Christian Based books for all ages is now located in Luther’s Café. Enjoy! Swap your favorites in and out….share….leave a comment on the library card bookmark for the next reader.

Thank you for all of your soap donations!  Our goal was to surpass last year’s soap collection of 274 bars and we did it!  331 large bars of soap were collected and 17 small cloths!  Now...time to do it again so please continue to donate bars of soap to Lutheran World Relief.  A basket is located at the church entrance for your donations.

Thank you to everyone who is participating in the Matthew 25 Ministries. We are still collecting prescription medicine bottles for 3rd world countries where doctors have nothing to dispense medication in. Please continue bringing in your medicine bottles and don’t forget, we need the labels removed.

If you would like information about acquiring a Prayer Quilt, please fill out a form located beside the prayer quilt in Luther’s Café or see Debbie in the church office.
